The new features are available for Android users in the US and will expand to those on iOS in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>These include a new Jump ahead button which automatically skips to the most interesting part of the video you\u2019re watching. It incorporates AI and viewership data and will appear if you double-tap on a video.<\/p>\n<p>YouTube Shorts are getting a Picture-in-picture (PiP) mode allowing you to watch content while multitasking.<\/p>\n<p>YouTube also shared its latest experimental features which you can acceess by visiting <a href=\"www.youtube.com\/new\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">experimental features page<\/a>. These include smart downloads for YouTube Shorts and Conversational AI which answers questions via prompts and suggests related content without interrupting your video.
