Jon\u00a0Hamm<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0wasn’t always madly in love with the idea of marriage.<\/p>\n

“I didn’t look at marriage as a thing,” the\u00a0Mad Men<\/em><\/a>\u00a0star explained to\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in an interview published June 19. “Obviously, my parents were not married long, so I don’t have a model to look at and go, ‘Oh, this is how one finds happiness.'”<\/p>\n

However, everything changed when he met his now-wife\u00a0Anna Osceola<\/strong><\/a>, whom he acted alongside in the 2015 series finale<\/a>. Though, Hamm admits popping the question still wasn’t easy for him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I just knew at a certain point I wanted to be with this person,” he continued. “But when I proposed, I was terrified. I was like, ‘What am I doing?’\u00a0<\/p>\n

While Hamm recalled feeling like taking this step was “really scary,” he ultimately figured, “‘Well, it probably means it’s worthwhile.”<\/p>\n

And\u00a0The Morning Show<\/em><\/a>\u00a0actor is glad he made the leap\u2014in a place that’s near and dear to their hearts no less.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
