\u201cTrends are funny,\u201d a reader named Hali wrote on five fun things<\/a>. \u201cThe slouchy bag thing is a hard pass for me \u2014 they remind me of weird 90s shopping malls. But watch: in three months, they\u2019ll wiggle their way into various carts I\u2019ve compiled across the Internet until one finally makes it to my doorstep and I\u2019ll be so pleased. Why does that happen?! I\u2019m asking it not to happen! Someone hold me accountable to my own taste!\u201d<\/p>\n Her comment made me laugh so much. I feel the same, do you? (Think: Birkenstocks, jellies, even skinny jeans\u2026)<\/p>\n One recent case in point: At first, I didn\u2019t love sheer shoes. Something felt weird about seeing someone\u2019s toes through mesh. But recently I\u2019ve been spotting more and more around town, and I\u2019ve started\u2026 changing my mind??!!! Do I like them now??? Could I even love<\/em> them?<\/p>\n Here are five pretty (!) ones: white<\/a>, pink<\/a>, blue<\/a>, sparkle<\/a>, black<\/a>.<\/p>\n What about you? Are there styles you\u2019ve changed your mind about? And, to ground myself, here are clothes I\u2019ve always liked, from the very start: blue shirts<\/a>, white shorts<\/a>, and red nail polish<\/a>. Whew.<\/em><\/p>\n P.S.
