Abbi Jacobson<\/strong> traded in her iconic blue bandage dress for a wedding gown.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Broad City<\/em> co-creator<\/a>\u00a0and star\u00a0and\u00a0Ted Lasso\u00a0<\/em>alum<\/a>\u00a0Jodi Balfour<\/strong>\u00a0tied the knot at the Public Records restaurant and music venue in Brooklyn, New York, the two announced on Instagram<\/a> June 5.<\/p>\n And while the duo, who started dating in 2020, had planned an outdoor ceremony and dinner, they\u00a0“had to pivot” due to torrential rain.<\/p>\n “It was such kismet, because the ceremony was not what we expected, but it was exactly what we’d hoped for,”\u00a0Abbi, 40, told\u00a0Cultured<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>magazine. “People were packed together. When we looked out at the audience, our friends were on stools, peeking through the plants, and sitting on top of the booths.”<\/p>\n The duo\u00a0exchanged vows in dresses by Mary-Kate Olsen<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and Ashley Olsen<\/a><\/strong>‘s label The Row, with\u00a0Abbi sporting a black strapless gown and\u00a0Jodi a sleeveless white one. For the post-wedding party, the two changed into\u00a0Versace chainmail and Vivienne Westwood, respectively. As for their first dance? They opted for a classic with\u00a0Aretha Franklin<\/a><\/strong>‘s “Don’t Let Me Lose This Dream.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
