Diddy\u2019s Attorney Speaks Out<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The day after HSI executed the search warrants at Combs’ L.A. and Miami properties, his lawyer spoke out<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” attorney\u00a0Aaron<\/strong> Dyer<\/strong>\u00a0said in a March 26 statement to E! News. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dyer noted Combs \u201cwas never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way,\u201d his lawyer’s statement continued. \u201cThis unprecedented ambush\u2014paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence\u2014leads\u00a0 to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
