Jon Bon Jovi<\/strong> recently confirmed that his band, Bon Jovi,<\/strong> was offered a residency at the Sphere<\/strong> in Las Vegas and, shockingly, turned the offer down.<\/p>\n

The 62-year-old singer made the revelation during an interview this week with the web\u2019s Ultimate Classic Rock. <\/em>While Bon Jovi didn\u2019t say exactly how much Sphere CEO James Dolan <\/strong>offered the pop-metal band from New Jersey to follow U2<\/strong>\u2018s inaugural residency, money apparently wasn\u2019t the issue.<\/p>\n

Bon Jovi said he got cold feet after attending U2\u2019s opening of the $2.3 billion spherical concert venue on September 29.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the first thing that goes through your mind, \u2018How would I present this?\u2019\u201d Bon Jovi said. \u201cI was like, \u2018Wow, how do I even wrap my arms around this? And how much time would it take to develop all this, to capture something that would be worthy that could follow this incredible production?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Elvis Costello & The Imposters <\/strong>and Daryl Hall<\/strong> will bring their co-headlining tour, opened by Charlie Sexton<\/strong>\u00a0to the Fontainebleau<\/strong>\u2019s BleauLive Theater<\/strong> on June 23. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday morning at fontainebleaulasvegas.com.<\/p>\n

The Imposters consist of keyboardist Steve Nieve<\/strong> and drummer Pete Thomas, <\/strong>who were also part of Costello\u2019s original backing group, The Attractions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a release, Hall said, \u201cIt\u2019s fantastic to be able to rekindle a musical relationship. Get ready for lots of great music.\u201d Costello echoed: \u201cWe are looking forward to kicking off the show in style, in the certainty that Daryl will deliver a slam-bang finish.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Also at the Fontainebleau, Australian EDM star Dom Dolla <\/strong>will perform a residency at both the LIV<\/strong>\u00a0 nightclub and beach. The dates include March 30; May 5, 17, and 24; June 15 and 29; September 1 and 14; and October 5. Tickets are available at livnightclub.com.<\/a><\/p>\n
