Cameras are strictly forboden at Anna Wintour<\/strong>‘s annual Met Gala, but even the most star-studded snap couldn’t have topped the footage that was released from Jay-Z<\/strong>, Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong> and sister Solange<\/strong>‘s post-afterparty elevator ride at NYC’s Standard Hotel.<\/p>\n Though the 2014 surveillance video was rather explicit, showing Solange more or less losing her s–t on her brother-in-law as Bey stood motionless, and rumors abound (he’d been flirtatious with designer Rachel Roy<\/strong>; they’d set up the whole thing to promote their\u00a0forthcoming tour), for awhile it seemed we’d never truly know<\/a> what went down in that elevator.\u00a0<\/p>\n Then Queen B dropped Lemonade<\/em> and suddenly everyone was speculating about Becky with the good hair. Though that particular mystery remains, Jay directly addressed infidelity chatter with his 4:44<\/em> disc, making reference to Halle Berry<\/strong>‘s cheating ex: “You egged Solange on \/ Knowin’ all along \/ All you had to say you was wrong \/ You almost went Eric Ben\u00e9t \/ Let the baddest girl in the world get away.”<\/p>\n In the end, though, he kept their power couple status and<\/em> his relationship with Solange intact. “We had one disagreement ever,” he said in a 2017\u00a0podcast interview.<\/a>\u00a0“Before and after, we’ve been cool.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
