The number of igaming operators that have registered with the Alberta regulator to launch when the market opens July 13 is up to 43, according to Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The AGLC will handle registration, compliance, standards, oversight and enforcement for operators and suppliers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) is the conduct and manage body.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nThe 43 listed operators are those that have successfully completed the registration process and paid their initial fees to AGLC. Operators pay a one-time application fee of $50,000 then an annual fee of $150,000 per site.<\/p>\n
