James Handy Death: Michael Gledhill, Son of Actor\u2019s Girlfriend, Charged in Fatal Stabbing<\/p>\n
New information has emerged regarding the death of actor <\/span>James Handy<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Two days<\/span> <\/span>after the 81-year-old was killed<\/span><\/a>, his girlfriend\u2019s son <\/span>Michael<\/strong> <\/span>Gledhill<\/strong> was charged with fatally stabbing the actor outside his mother\u2019s home in Tarzana, Calif., on June 3, according to a<\/span> <\/span>June 5 press release<\/span><\/a> from the Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s office.<\/span><\/p>\n Gledhill, 44, was charged with one count of murder \u201cwith a special allegation that he personally used a deadly weapon, a knife.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n L.A. County District Attorney <\/span>Nathan J. Hochman<\/strong> reflected on Handy\u2019s death in the press release, saying, \u201cThis is not how anyone\u2019s life should end, stabbed in the chest and left dying in the front yard of a home.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe victim, James Handy, deserved to live out his later years enjoying what he had worked so hard for and enjoying it with those he loved and cared about,\u201d he continued. \u201cLike all murder victims, his life mattered and the person who inexplicably and violently took it must be held accountable for his actions.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
