\nAll three casinos in Primm, Nev. will permanently close on July 4, 2026, according to a confidential all-staff letter<\/a> obtained and shared by the reliable X <\/em>news page Las Vegas Locally on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

(Image: Shutterstock)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n According to the letter \u2014 a \u201cnotice of business closure and employment termination\u201d from the Primadonna Company,\u00a0 owned by Affinity Gaming\u2019s Primm Valley Resorts \u2014 Primm Valley Resort & Casino, Buffalo Bill\u2019s Resort & Casino, and Whiskey Pete\u2019s Hotel & Casino \u201cwill be permanently closing its operations.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThis action is expected to result in the permanent termination of employment for all employees at these locations,\u201d it stated.<\/p>\n
Affinity \u2014 which purchased the three casinos from MGM Resorts for $400 million in 2007 \u2014 already shuttered Whiskey Pete\u2019s<\/a> in December 2024, then switched Buffalo Bill\u2019s<\/a> to event-only operation in July 2025.<\/p>\n
Also announced in the new termination notice were the closures of the adjacent Primm Center gas station \/convenience store and Flying J truck stop.<\/p>\n

Primm\u2019s 371K square-foot outlet mall, which opened as the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas in 1998, has become a nearly abandoned relic<\/a>\u00a0populated mostly by YouTube livestreamers.<\/p>\n
Primm Valley Resorts\u2019 letter noted the terminated employees \u201cdo not have bumping rights,\u201d referring to a contractual provision allowing senior employees whose positions have been eliminated to displace less senior employees from their positions.<\/p>\n
In addition, next to the words \u201cUnion Representation,\u201d the letter reminded its recipients that they had \u201cnone.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYour employment is expected to end on or around July 4, 2026,\u201d the letter read. \u201cAll affected employees are not expected to be recalled.\u201d<\/p>\n
