It took a bit longer than expected<\/a>, but the vivo X300 FE<\/a> is now available through vivo\u2019s official online stores in Spain, Austria and Hungary. We\u2019ll keep an eye out for availability at other EU stores.<\/p>\n

Well, here it is. The vivo X300 FE is priced at a hefty \u20ac1,000 \u2013 you can see it in more detail in the stores for Spain<\/a>, Austria<\/a> and Hungary<\/a>. The phone comes with 3+1 years of warranty and a 5-year battery warranty. There\u2019s a case and a pre-installed screen protector too. This offer is valid until the end of May. Also, the first 200 units purchased will come with a free vivo Watch GT 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The other option (here<\/a>) costs \u20ac1,200. This is the special edition with the Zeiss Professional Kit \u2013 a Zeiss Gen 2 Telephoto Extender Lens (200mm), the case you need to mount it on the phone, a carrying case for the lens, a lanyard and a 90W Flash Charger. The first 200 buyers also get the watch.<\/p>\n

The vivo X300 FE is available in Purple and Black, the watch (if you get it) comes in Obsidian Black and Stellar White. The vivo Watch GT 2 normally costs \u20ac130, by the way.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s address the tiny elephant in the room, the vivo X300<\/a>. With a better memory configuration (16\/512GB vs. FE\u2019s 12\/512GB), it costs only \u20ac860 \u2013 this is with a discount, but still. You can see this offer here<\/a>. If you compare the two<\/a>, you will find many similarities and a few key differences.<\/p>\n

Both phones have 6.31\u201d LTPO OLED displays, but the FE model has a larger 6,500mAh battery, while the European X300 only has a 5,360mAh battery. Both support 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The FE is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5<\/a> (not the Elite version), while the other model uses the Dimensity 9500<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And now, the cameras. The FE has a smaller 50MP 1\/1.56\u201d main sensor than X300\u2019s 200MP 1\/1.4\u201d main camera. The telephoto cameras are roughly the same (FE: 50MP f\/2.7 73mm, X300: 50MP f\/2.6 70mm) and the selfie cameras are identical (50MP). The FE only has an 8MP ultra-wide camera vs. X300\u2019s 50MP module, however.<\/p>\n
