While some companies like to keep a wide margin between their Ultra and non-Ultra devices, Oppo is going the other way \u2013 the upcoming Oppo Find X9s Pro will have cameras that will rival the Ultra model.<\/p>\n

Both the Find X9 Ultra<\/a> and Find X9s Pro will debut in China on April 21<\/a>. The Ultra will be about as large as they come with a 6.82\u201d display, while the X9s Pro is expected to be a petite flagship with a 6.32\u201d display \u2013 and nearly the same battery size as the Ultra at 7,000mAh.<\/p>\n

Crucially, both will have two 200MP sensors \u2013 one in the main camera and one in the telephoto camera, with Hasselblad tuning. Oppo exec Zhuo Shijie shared photos from each camera that compare the two phones.<\/p>\n

Zhuo highlights how the hair and fabric are rendered in the photos \u2013 these can be tricky for digital cameras as noise reduction often blurs them out. Both phones preserve the details and keep colors looking natural, says Zhuo.<\/p>\n

The Hasselblad color science on the main and telephoto cameras has reportedly been tuned to offer consistent color rendering. This will allow users to shoot clips at various focal lengths and easily stitch them together without having to color balance them. That\u2019s the promise, anyway.<\/p>\n

The two phones will also have 50MP ultra-wide cameras, which, combined with in-sensor zoom on the other two, will offer five key zoom steps: 0.6x, 1x, 2x, 2.8x and 5.6x. All three cameras will be capable of \u201cHasselblad-quality\u201d 8K video.<\/p>\n

The Oppo Find X9s Pro and Find X9 Ultra will be revealed three weeks from now, but we expect that Oppo will share more details and teasers in the meantime. Unfortunately, it looks like the X9s Pro will remain exclusive to China and only the X9 Ultra will go global.<\/p>\n
