The NFL is expected to officially award 2029\u2019s Super Bowl to Las Vegas next week, according to reports circulating on Wednesday. Although NFL owners are scheduled to vote as early as Monday at their meeting in Phoenix, ESPN<\/em>\u2018s Adam Schefter quoted a source calling the vote a \u201cmatter of formality.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe NFL looks forward to coming back,\u201d he told the Las Vegas host committee.<\/p>\n
The NFL typically awards a Super Bowl to a host city between three and four years in advance. The league has developed a preferred rotation of certain cities \u2014 usually those with domed stadiums or warmer climates. The big game will be played sometime in February 2029.<\/p>\n
After the upcoming vote for Super Bowl 63, the venues for the next three Super Bowls will be set. Next year, it will return to L.A. at SoFi Stadium, while 2028\u2019s Super Bowl in 2028 will be played at Atlanta\u2019s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.<\/p>\n

The game drew a reported 330K visitors to town, setting a record for Harry Reid International Airport with 104K passengers the following day.<\/p>\n
According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, it generated a $1 billion economic impact for the city, including $877 million in gross visitor spending. Super Bowl attendees spent an average of $2,660 per person, according to the visitor-funded marketing agency, more than double the typical Vegas visitor\u2019s outlay.<\/p>\n
The buzz extended far beyond the stadium, with hotels, nightclubs, and venues hosting NFL partners, sponsors, and celebrities.<\/p>\n
