\nA Nevada man is suing the Golden Corral,<\/strong> claiming he was violently assaulted by staff after eating at the buffet chain\u2019s location in Henderson, Nev. last year. A March 5 lawsuit filed in Clark County Court by Gary Sellinger, 59, claims he was attacked by multiple restaurant employees who claimed he didn\u2019t pay his bill, leaving him with lasting physical trauma including a brain injury.<\/p>\n

The incident is alleged to have happened on Feb. 2, 2025 at this Golden Corral at 1445 W. Sunset Road in Henderson, Nev. (Image: Google Street View)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n The lawsuit alleges that one employee grabbed Sellinger by the neck and slammed him into a table. Several workers then allegedly joined in, \u201cpummeling, hitting, kicking and stabbing\u201d him with a fork. Sellinger claims he was struck repeatedly in the back with the utensil and suffered his head injury when he was thrown to the ground and hit a chair.<\/p>\n
The lawsuit seeks more than $15,000 in damages, along with attorney fees and litigation costs.<\/p>\n
Henderson police confirmed that officers were dispatched to the restaurant at approximately 6:08 p.m. on the date the lawsuit alleges that the incident happened: Feb. 2, 2025.<\/p>\n
Golden Corral has not publicly commented on the allegations, and no criminal charges have been announced.
<\/strong><\/p>\nHealth to Pay<\/strong><\/h2>\n
Hot N Juicy Crawfish <\/strong>at the Miracle Mile Shops<\/strong> at Planet Hollywood <\/strong>was closed by the Southern Nevada Health District<\/strong> during a routine March 11 inspection that turned up nine demerits. Its violations, among others, included:<\/p>\n

- Food contact surfaces of equipment improperly cleaned and sanitized (3)<\/li>\n
- Ineffective pest control measures (3)<\/li>\n
- No person in charge present, demonstrating knowledge and performing duties; no mandated certification and food handler card (3)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
When businesses are closed by the SNHD, they are allowed to correct the issues as fast as they can, then request an immediate in-person reinspection. If the hazards are corrected, the business can reopen immediately and have the closure removed from\u00a0SNHD\u2019s website.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
Located on the upper level near the V Theater, Hot N Juicy is one of the busiest seafood spots in that mall.<\/p>\n

German Bread Bakery<\/strong> \u2014 a Vegas favorite for pretzels, strudels and dark rye for 22 years \u2014 has closed both of its locations, at 2237 N. Rampart Blvd. and 9255 S. Eastern Ave.. It announced the sad surprise on Facebook without explanation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
