This space tends to have somewhat of a calm, sacred air about it, with passengers actually tuned into their surroundings and even chatting casually with strangers. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You might see lots of kids and retirees filling the seats and commingling over the sweeping views.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>All trains have outlets, but there is no WiFi onboard<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2026 and cell service can be spotty along the route. (Another reason you probably won\u2019t get much work done.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>If connecting from BART, use Richmond\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Taking BART to Amtrak? Ski buses run rain or shine, but they are affected by traffic and road closures. Round-trip tickets on the ski bus are around $100.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What else to know about taking the ski bus:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>It\u2019s a weekend-only option \u2014 and for the day only<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Buses depart at 5 a.m. from the Bay Area and leave the resort at around 4 p.m. after lifts close.
