Fortunately, that didn&#8217;t happen. And the good news is, Samsung has confirmed that the S Pen isn&#8217;t going anywhere.<\/p>\n<h4>Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G<\/h4>\n<p>In an interview with <i>Bloomberg<\/i>, Won-Joon Choi, COO of Samsung&#8217;s Mobile Experience Business, confirmed that Samsung is currently working on a next-gen version of the S Pen stylus.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"799\" alt=\"Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with its S Pen\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/26\/02\/samsung-s-pen-advanced-tech-development\/inline\/-1200w5\/gsmarena_001.jpg\"\/><br \/>\n<span><strong>Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra with its S Pen<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<i>We\u2019re working on a more advanced technology within S Pen to come up with a new structure of display, so the penalty of having S Pen is diminished. S Pen will continue to be one of the core technologies,<\/i>&#8221; said Choi without providing more details about this advanced S Pen.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Choi said that Samsung is yet to make a decision regarding the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/samsung_galaxy_s25_edge-13506.php\">Galaxy S25 Edge<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/samsung_galaxy_z_trifold_5g-14292.php\">Galaxy Z TriFold<\/a>&#8216;s successors. However, the Samsung COO didn&#8217;t rule out a wider version of the Galaxy Z Fold, which folds once.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/samsung_wide_galaxy_z_fold_design-news-71566.php\">wide Galaxy Z Fold was spotted in One UI 9<\/a>, confirming that Samsung is working on a wider model.
