The iQOO 15R is aimed at young professionals looking for a smartphone that&#8217;s compact but also packs a powerful chipset and a big battery under the hood.<\/p>\n<p>iQOO is delivering on that by offering the iQOO 15R with a 6.59&#8243; AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, and a 7,600 mAh battery.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"388\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/26\/02\/iqoo-15r-official\/inline\/-x450\/gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"iQOO 15R arrives with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, a 144Hz screen, and a 7,600 mAh battery\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The display, protected by Schott Xensation Alpha glass, has a 144Hz refresh rate, a 2,750&#215;1,260-pixel resolution, and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The 15R boots Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box, and iQOO has promised up to four years of OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the smartphone.<\/p>\n<p>The iQOO 15R&#8217;s 7,600 mAh battery supports 100W wired charging, and it&#8217;s advertised to charge from 1% to 50% in 33 minutes and to 100% in 63 minutes with the bundled 100W power adapter. The smartphone also supports bypass charging and reverse wired charging.<\/p>\n<p>The iQOO 15R features three cameras &#8211; a 50MP primary (Sony LYT-700V), an 8MP ultrawide, and a 32MP selfie.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"389\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/fdn.gsmarena.com\/imgroot\/news\/26\/02\/iqoo-15r-official\/inline\/-x450\/gsmarena_002.jpg\" alt=\"iQOO 15R arrives with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, a 144Hz screen, and a 7,600 mAh battery\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Other features of the iQOO 15R include the Q2 Supercomputing Chip, a 6.5K IceCore VC Cooling System, support for 144 FPS gaming in BGMI through frame interpolation technology, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, and NFC. The smartphone also comes with stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and IP68 and IP69 ratings.<\/p>\n<p>The iQOO 15R is offered in Dark Knight and Triumph Silver colors. The Dark Knight model is 7.90mm thick, weighs 202 g, and features a fiber glass back. Customers purchasing the phone with an HDFC Bank or Axis Bank credit or debit card will receive a discount of INR4,000 ($45\/\u20ac40).<\/p>\n<p>The iQOO 15R will go on sale in India starting March 3 through iQOO&#8217;s official website, Amazon.in, vivo exclusive stores, Reliance Digital, and other offline retailers.<\/p>\n<p>The iQOO 15R is also up for pre-order through the same sales channels in India, and those who pre-order will receive a pair of vivo\/iQOO TWS earphones worth INR1,899 ($20\/\u20ac18) for free.
