The total route is around 1.3 miles long.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Do I need tickets to the San Francisco Chinese New Year parade?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The parade is <a href=\"https:\/\/chineseparade.com\/faq\/\">a free event<\/a>. However, if you want to sit on the bleachers, you\u2019ll need paid tickets to be assigned a specific section (but not a specific seat).<\/p>\n<p>There are four bleacher sections, each on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Washington and Jackson streets<\/li>\n<li>California and Sacramento streets<\/li>\n<li>Kearny and Grant streets<\/li>\n<li>Stockton and Powell streets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tickets range from $45 to $75, and <a href=\"https:\/\/chineseparade.com\/tickets\/\">can be bought online<\/a> for email delivery. The more expensive options include a gift bag.
