Ronda Rousey<\/strong><\/a> is getting back in the ring.<\/span><\/p>\n Nearly a decade after her last MMA fight, the mixed martial artist announced she would be coming out of retirement to take on fellow former fighter <\/span>Gina Carano<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n “Been waiting so long to announce this: Me and Gina Carano are gonna throw down in the biggest super fight in women’s combat sport history!” Ronda said in a Feb. 17 statement to <\/span>ESPN<\/span><\/a>. “This is for all MMA fans past, present and future. More to come… much more.”<\/span><\/p>\n The showdown between Ronda and Gina\u2014organized by <\/span>Jake Paul<\/strong>\u2019s Most Valuable Promotions\u2014will stream live May 16 on Netflix.<\/span><\/p>\n Following her career in MMA, Ronda\u2014mom to daughters <\/span>La’akea Browne<\/strong>, 4, and <\/span>Liko\u2019ula Browne<\/strong><\/a>, 13 months, with husband <\/span>Travis Browne<\/strong>\u2014wrestled with WWE until 2023 and has starred in the <\/span>Fast & Furious<\/span><\/em> and <\/span>The Expendables<\/span><\/em> franchises.
