This weekend, we went to visit my parents in Michigan\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026and had the best time smelling bonfires, climbing haystacks, and crunching through the snow. We also saw my beloved college roommate, Alison, pictured above, and it felt exactly the same, as always.<\/p>\n

Also, isn\u2019t it funny how you revert to your childhood self around your family? I\u2019m 100000% the firstborn daughter and act accordingly. I figure out the logistics, make the reservations, get the driving directions, you name it.<\/p>\n

The funny part is, I have a twin<\/a>, but since I\u2019m two minutes older, our family always treated me like the firstborn. \u201cYes, 100%, you are my older sister,\u201d my sister said years ago<\/a>. \u201cI don\u2019t even know what to say, it\u2019s just a fact that I\u2019m a middle child. You know how the middle child is the peacemaker? I\u2019m kind of like, well, I\u2019m the middle child and I go with the flow.\u201d<\/p>\n
