Tori Spelling canceled a planned \u201cBackstreet Boys\u201d concert afterparty in Las Vegas on Sunday night, blaming an unexpected health issue she did not disclose.<\/p>\n

The actress and podcast host, 52, was scheduled to co\u2011host the \u201c\u201990s After Dark Party\u201d with onetime \u201cBeverly Hills, 90210\u201d costar Brian Austin Green at Voltaire, the nightlife venue inside the Venetian.<\/p>\n

The event was promoted by Voltaire\u2019s website as a one\u2011night\u2011only afterparty designed to \u201ctransport fans back to the 1990s.\u201d Shrewd marketing placed it directly adjacent to where 20,000 nostalgic millennials are expected to file out of the Sphere following the December 28 Backstreet Boys concert.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter Dark,\u201d named after the nightclub on \u201c90210,\u201d was to have featured DJ sets, an appearance by Color Me Badd and \u201csurprise guests\u201d (a not-so-subtle tease that one of them might be an actual Backstreet Boy).<\/p>\n

Spelling announced the postponement on Friday, December 26 via Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis hurts to share,\u201d she wrote, \u201cbut I need to be honest with you. I\u2019m sick and have to postpone our After Dark event this Sunday night in Las Vegas.\u201d<\/p>\n

She told followers she needed to prioritize her health, noting that she had been looking forward to the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been counting down the days to see you, and it truly breaks my heart to pause something I was so excited for,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n

While Spelling did not disclose the nature of her illness, she emphasized that the party would be rescheduled and thanked fans for their support and understanding. Her post included a promise that a new date would be announced soon.<\/p>\n

Green, also 52, did not issue a separate statement about the postponement. Earlier in the week, however \u2014 on Christmas Day \u2014 he promoted the event on Instagram, encouraging fans to join him and Spelling at Voltaire following the concert next door.<\/p>\n

Voltaire, which opened in late 2023, has become known for hosting intimate, themed nightlife events and limited\u2011run performances.<\/p>\n
