A new rumor from the prolific tipster known as Ice Universe comes to contradict the dimensions of the iPhone Fold<\/a> that were revealed through purported CAD schematics<\/a> last week. That’s why we urge you to take this with an extra bit of caution, more than usual.<\/p>\n

Anyway, according to Ice Universe, the iPhone Fold’s inner, folding screen will measure 7.58″ diagonally and will have a 4:3 aspect ratio, while its outer cover display will be 5.35″ diagonally.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Samsung is rumored to be creating its very own wide-style foldable<\/a> similar to the iPhone Fold. While Samsung has so far picked the tall and narrow route, Apple’s choice to go in the exact opposite direction hasn’t gone unnoticed in Korea. Or at least that’s how the story goes.<\/p>\n

Samsung’s first wide foldable will allegedly have a 7.6″ inner folding screen with the same 4:3 aspect ratio as the iPhone, and a 5.4″ cover display. So it will be ever so slightly bigger than the iPhone Fold, but it probably won’t be easy to tell unless you have them side by side.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
