Jane Fonda<\/strong><\/a> has been rocked by the untimely deaths of Rob Reiner<\/a> <\/strong>and his wife Michele Singer Reiner<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n In fact, the two-time Oscar winner said she met with the longtime couple just one day before they were found dead at their Los Angeles home<\/a> on Dec. 14.<\/p>\n “I saw them night before last looking healthy and happy,” Jane wrote on Instagram<\/a> Dec. 15. “I am reeling with grief. Stunned.”<\/p>\n Remembering the pair’s shared passion for activism, the 87-year-old added, “Rob and Michele Reiner were wonderful, caring, smart, funny, generous people, always coming up with ideas for how to make the world better, kinder.”<\/p>\n The Reiners had attended a star-studded Christmas party<\/a> hosted by Conan O\u2019Brien<\/strong>\u00a0on Dec. 13, sources confirmed to multiple outlets.\u00a0<\/p>\n The following day, police responded to the Reiners’ residence in the Brentwood neighborhood around 3:40 p.m., according to a press release from the Los Angeles Police Department. Upon arrival, officers “discovered two victims, who were subsequently identified as Robert and Michele Reiner.”<\/p>\n “As a result of the initial investigation, it was determined that the Reiners were the victims of homicide,” authorities said in an LAPD press release. “The investigation further revealed that Nick Reiner<\/strong><\/a>, the 32-year-old son of Robert and Michele Reiner, was responsible for their deaths.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
