Judy Garland<\/strong><\/a>‘s family is over the rainbow at new generations brought into the wonderful world of Oz.<\/p>\n The late Wizard of Oz<\/em> star’s daughter Lorna Luft<\/strong>\u2014whose father is the late movie producer\u00a0Sidney Luft<\/strong>\u2014couldn’t be happier about the success of\u00a0Wicked<\/em><\/a> and for everyone involved in the film, which takes place in the same cinematic universe as her mother’s iconic film.<\/p>\n “I am so pleased for everyone on Wicked,<\/em>” she told E! News exclusively at the Red Diamond 95th Anniversary Gala at The Pierre Hotel in New York City Nov. 20. “Jon Chu<\/strong> is amazing. Cynthia <\/strong>[Erivo<\/strong>] <\/strong>and Ariana\u00a0<\/strong>[Grande<\/strong>] and everybody in that film, they’re a separate entity, OK? And they have their own story and their own visit with Oz.”<\/p>\n “But I think they will agree with me,” Lorna, 73, continued. “Jeff<\/strong>\u00a0[Goldblum<\/strong>] and Michelle<\/strong>\u00a0[Yeoh<\/strong>] and everyone affected by going to Oz and joining the Oz family is quite remarkable.”<\/p>\n
