\u201cYou just go completely mentally numb,\u201d Shawn confessed of her time on the series, \u201cto where you’re just like a human shell.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrew added, \u201cHonestly, I would recommend the whole show until the last day. Honestly, it ruined everything. It was so brutal.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

And while Shawn didn\u2019t agree that<\/span> the end ruined it all, she was on the same page <\/span>that the <\/span>finale<\/span> completely shifted the game, saying, \u201cIt went from something we are very used to, which is the physical pain, to, \u2018Whoa, what is this?\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The gold medalist did feel \u201clucky\u201d she made it to the finale, adding, \u201c<\/span>Crossing<\/span> that finish line took all of those bad memories of everything you just went through, and made it have a purpose to it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

And although Andrew had a slightly different experience, the former Washington Commanders long snapper was grateful to have had the time with his other half.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
