Team Liquid boosted its record to 7-0 by downing the winless DhillDucks Sunday at the Overwatch Champions Series 2025 — North America Stage 3, setting the stage for the playoff round.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

The win provided Liquid a first-place finish during pool play, giving it the top seed when the regional playoffs kick off later this month, from Oct. 18-26.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

The top six teams from pool play advance to the playoffs, meaning NTMR’s win to close out the session over Extinction on Sunday secured their standing as well. NTMR’s win secured that squad a top-four finish, which propels NTMR to the upper bracket.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

\n

The eight-team online competition produced six playoff teams following round-robin action, who all advance to the double-elimination regional playoffs. The top three finishers in the playoffs will earn Overwatch Champions Series 2025 World Finals invitations as well as cash prizes of $30,000 (first), $20,000 (second) and $14,500 (third). Lower finishers will earn less: $10,500 for fourth, $7,500 for fifth and sixth and $5,000 for seventh and eighth.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

Team Liquid started its day with a 2-0 win on Ilios, following that up with a 3-0 win on Suravasa and then a 5-4 win on Watchpoint: Gibraltar to earn the clean sweep of 0-7 DhillDucks.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

NTMR likewise compiled a sweep, knocking Extinction out of the bracket in the process. NTMR won 2-0 on Samoa, 3-2 on Watchpoint: Gibraltar and 137.36m – 21.61m on Esperanca. Extinction landed in seventh place with the loss, a spot out of the playoff.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n
